29 Weeks and a sneak peak...

Before I go into my weekly update, I wanted to post a little sneak peak of the bedding. It just came in today! I'm having a few issues with the bed skirt and will post more pics and details ASAP. I love how the bedding looks with the paint color.

Now for my weekly update....29 Weeks!

We actually got to play a little golf tonight. I'm shocked that I can still fit into this shirt.

How Far Along: 29 Weeks

Size of baby: Baby Girl now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (the size of a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. Her muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and her head is growing bigger to make room for her developing brain. To meet her increasing nutritional demands, I need to eat plenty of protein, vitamins C, folic acid, and iron. And because her bones are soaking up lots of calcium, I need to be sure to get LOTS of calcium. This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited in Baby Girl's hardening skeleton each day.

Total Weight Gain: 12lbs

Maternity Clothes: Wearing a combo of both but mainly maternity clothes. Most other tops are too short now.

Gender: We're having a Baby Girl!!! Side note: we are going to keep Baby Girl's name a secret :)

Movement: I love feeling her move all the time. My family in FL got to feel and SEE Baby Girl move all weekend.

Sleep: Still sleeping just okay.

Symptoms: Still feeling great and able to work out most days. I'm noticing a little bit of swelling in my feet at night. My mom lovingly referred to my feet as 'Pregnancy Feet.' Not so attractive.

What I miss: Can't think of too much this week.

Cravings: Soup. Just tastes so good this time of year.

Best Moment of the Week: Spending a long weekend in FL with my family and friends. My mom hosted an amazing shower!! It was so fun getting things for Baby Girl.

What I am Looking Forward to: My 30 week doctor's appointment at the end of the week.
