25 Weeks!

Another week! And don't mind the golf clothes. I've been playing/having a lesson on Tuesdays. I now have to layer my non-maternity clothes because my tummy pokes out the bottom of my shirt!

How Far Along: 25 Weeks

Size of baby: Baby Girl now measures about 13 1/2 inches. Her weight — a pound and a half (wow! no wonder I've been so hungry..Baby Girl had a growth spurt!) — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but she's beginning to exchange her long, lean look for some baby fat. As she does, her wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and she'll start to look more and more like a newborn. She's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture. I'm betting that Baby Girl will have dark hair like Chris. I'd be shocked if she was blonde like me!

Total Weight Gain: 9 lbs.

Maternity Clothes: Wearing a combo of both and love all my new maternity clothes!

Gender: We're having a Baby Girl!!! Side note: we are going to keep Baby Girl's name a secret :)
Movement: Still feel her move all day long. The movements and kicks get stronger each day.
Sleep: Sleeping great. I got a lot of sleep over the weekend..must have needed it!

Symptoms: My siatic nerve is actually feeling much better. Knock on wood. I've been feeling great and been able to work out every day. Also, my hair is still growing out of control. It's so thick!

What I miss: My (somewhat) flat stomach. I think my rapid growing belly is affecting my golf game. Not that I was very good to begin with but I've noticed a change the past couple of weeks. I know I have a long way to go though...

Cravings: Cereal with a banana in the morning and I'm not going to lie, sweets. I've had my share of them the past few days!

Best Moment of the Week: Working on the nursery. It's going to be painted next week and the furniture and bedding come very soon!

What I am looking forward to: A relaxing weekend without anything major planned. Hope to get a little more work done on Baby Girl's nursery, play some golf, catch up on DVR, and take several naps!
